The company received a Volume Award, a prestigious honor presented to contractors with the highest number of FORTIFIED Home™ designations nationwide.
Developed by the Insurance Institute for Business & Home Safety (IBHS), the FORTIFIED Home™ program is a nationally recognized construction and re-roofing standard that helps protect homes from severe weather like hurricanes, high winds, and heavy rain. A FORTIFIED roof goes beyond typical building codes by using stronger materials and installation techniques—such as enhanced roof deck attachment, sealed roof decks, and improved edge protection—making homes more resilient and significantly reducing storm damage.
Patriot Roofing has also helped dozens of homeowners across Eastern North Carolina access grant funding through the Strengthen Your Roof and Strengthen Your Coastal Roof programs offered by the North Carolina Insurance Underwriting Association (NCIUA). These grant programs provide up to $10,000 to eligible homeowners to upgrade to a FORTIFIED Roof™, making storm protection more affordable for families living in hurricane-prone areas.
