Raising the Roof on Success: Topsail Young Professionals a hit!
The Topsail Young Professionals (TYP) are thrilled to announce the success of their first-ever event, held on September 30, 2024, at Hidden Ships Distillery in Surf City, NC. A division of the Greater Topsail Area Chamber of Commerce, Topsail Young Professionals was started by young professionals, for young professionals. The gathering attracted over 75 local young professionals eager to network, engage, and contribute to the growth of the Topsail Area.
This inaugural event marked the beginning of TYP’s mission to bring together dynamic individuals from a variety of industries to foster professional development and build strong community relationships. Attendees were greeted by Andy Szwejbka, owner of Hidden Ships Distillery, who is equally invested and excited in TYP’s mission.
Patriot Roofing Marketing Associate, Alexis Siebert, is one of the founding members of Topsail Young Professionals. Of the event she said, “We’re impressed by the enthusiasm and turnout for our inaugural event. It’s clear that the Topsail area has a large group of individuals eager to connect and network with the community.”
In addition to the success of this first event, TYP has already announced plans for future gatherings, including educational workshops, volunteer opportunities, and additional networking socials. The group aims to strengthen local businesses, nurture future leaders, and create a lasting impact in the Topsail area.
Topsail Young Professionals is a network of dynamic individuals, representing a range of industries and professions in the Greater Topsail region. Through events, workshops, and community involvement, TYP seeks to empower its members by providing opportunities for professional growth, leadership development, and networking. TYP is committed to shaping a vibrant and supportive business community in the Greater Topsail area of North Carolina. The founding members are Alexis Siebert of Patriot Roofing, Jessica Nadeau of Northwestern Mutual, Marissa Miller of Inlet Marketing, and Jessica Soles-Moore of Soles-Moore and Associates Realty.

The next event is a Pumpkin Carving Contest on Monday October, 21st from 5:30-7:30PM. There will be pumpkins for sale, charcuterie, and opportunities to network with young professionals.
