Kim Forrester has spent nearly four decades working in construction and exterior remodeling. His career began after graduating from John Yeates High School in Suffolk, Virginia, in 1982. He continued his education at Old Dominion University before attending Newport News Electric Marine Apprentice School, where he developed foundational technical and construction skills. Throughout his career, Kim has worked across multiple areas of residential construction, including roofing systems, siding installation, replacement windows, trim work, and full exterior renovations. His experience as a homebuilder provided firsthand knowledge of how every component of a home’s exterior works together to protect the structure and improve long-term performance. In addition to his field experience, Kim served as Vice President of Marketing and Sales for Paramount Builders, giving him a unique perspective on both construction operations and customer education. One of Kim’s notable accomplishments includes managing and completing a full exterior replacement project on a home in Gloucester, Virginia. After spending many years in Virginia, Kim returned to Coastal North Carolina in 2024 and now calls Holden Beach home.
