Mathew Melton serves as a Senior Project Specialist at Patriot Roofing, bringing more than 13 years of experience in residential and commercial roofing. His background includes everything from complex insurance restoration projects to large-scale commercial roofing systems and FORTIFIED Roof™ installations. Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Mathew graduated from the University of Cincinnati in 2012. His roofing career began through a connection with Patriot Roofing’s original owner, whom he knew while working in the restaurant industry. What started as an opportunity quickly became a long-term career built around helping property owners protect one of their most valuable investments. Throughout his career, Mathew has developed expertise in both residential and commercial roofing projects. He regularly works with homeowners, business owners, HOAs, and facility managers to evaluate roofing systems, explain available options, and create solutions that fit each property’s needs and budget. His experience also includes navigating insurance claims and helping customers understand how FORTIFIED Roof™ standards can improve storm resilience. Mathew has contributed to several notable roofing projects throughout coastal North Carolina, including Allen’s Lanes Townhomes, Kids Making It, and roofing work at the Landfall Country Club Ballroom and Pro Shop. His approach focuses on clear communication, thorough inspections, and recommending solutions that provide lasting value rather than short-term fixes.
