Resiliency, roll with the punches, and quick to adapt best describe me. It allows me to see the forest through the trees and navigate industry changes as they’re coming. My grandaddy taught me the ropes of the construction business at a young age, and I credit him for installing my love of old buildings. I care about my community and the legacy that I will leave behind. I am passionate about historic preservation and serve as the president of the board of trustees at the Historic Wilmington Foundation. I enjoy working on house projects, traveling to concerts with my husband, Bill, and touring all the states by age 50.
